Chord의 Hugo M Scaler

 Hugo M Scaler는 Rob Watts가 개발한 디지털필터를 탑재하여 최고 445kHz까지 업스캐일링 할 수 있습니다. ( CD의 44.1kHz의 16배)

이 업스캐일링이 과연 음질을 개선하는가에 대해서는 논란이 좀 있습니다만 중론은 '어느 정도까지는 효과가 있다'로 수렴되었죠. 하지만 그것 역시 각자 판단의 몫.

그래서 미니나 포터블로 재미 본 Chord가 과감히 업스캐일러를 내놓는게 그리 좋게만 보이지는 않습니다.
