CAAS Audio, Elysian EPre II & 100 Power

CAAS Audio는 영국 요크셔에서 설립된 회사인데, 그래서인지 디자인에서 dCS의 냄새가 납니다. 스스로 A class전문이라고 하니 출시하는 앰프는 대략 짐작이 갑니다만 실제 스펙을 보면 어라? 합니다. 초기구간만 A class고 출력이 높아지면 AB class로 구동되는 일반적인 방식입니다.

Elysian EPre II & 100 Power는 세트로 18,000파운드로 프리만은 8,000/ 파워는 모노로 개당 5,000파운드 즉 페어에 10,000파운드입니다. 요새 기기들 가격치고는 적당한 수준.

전면패널은 커스텀 아노다이지을 제공하고 있을 정도로 자신감이 있어보이지만, 뒷면을 보면 아직은 상업적으로 미완성의 느낌이 납니다. 그런것보면 역사 깊은 브랜드라는 것은 단순히 오래되었다는 것만이 아니라 그만큼의 노하우라 쌓인것이라걸 다시 일깨워 줍니다.(고스톱 쳐 딴게 아니라는 말을 점잖게 하려니 어색하군요)
