Chandos의 빛나는 작곡가 시리즈로 잉글리시 내셔널 오페라의 젊은 음악 감독 에드워드 가드너에 의한 야나체크 관현악 1집. 1765년 설립되어 세계에서 가장 오래된 오케스트라 중 하나인 노르웨이 전통 오케스트라, 베르겐 필하모닉 오케스트라가 창립 250주년을 맞이하는 2015년부터 가드너를 수석 지휘자로 취임할 예정이다. 이 음반을 듣노라면 앞으로의 활약이 매우 큰 조합이다. 야나체크의 신포니아에타는 가장 성공한 곡이자 인기있는 작품으로 37살 연하의 Kamila Stossslova와 Pisek를 여행 중 인상적이었던 군악대 연주의 팡파레 연주를 모티브로 만든 곡이다. 왼손 피아노와 관악을 위한 카프리치오, 그리고 지휘자 찰스 맥커라스에 의한 최종 개정판, 모음곡 '영리한 새끼 암여우' 까지 야나체크의 아름다운 매력을 보여주고 있다.
