드디어 오랫동안 많은 이들이 기다려왔던 레이첼 포저의 비버 로자리오(미스테리) 소나타가 나왔다. 바로크 바이올린 음악을 대표하는 이 위대한 걸작은 여전히 수많은 해석의 여지를 남기고 있는데, 포저는 서로 다른 스코르다투라(변칙 조율)의 가능성을 낱낱이 살리면서도 순음악적인 아름다움과 묘사적인 표현을 섬세하게 결합한 빼어난 연주를 들려준다. 깊은 여운이 느껴지는 10번 ‘수난’이나 기쁨이 터져나오는 11번 ‘부활’은 특히나 감동적이다. 맨슨-밀러-스비아트키비츠로 이어지는 콘티누오 역시 훌륭한데, 다채로우면서도 과장되지 않는 모범적 취향을 보여준다.
