음반 소개
이반 피셔와 부다페스트 페스티벌 오케스트라가 드디어 차이콥스키 ‘비창’ 교향곡을 녹음했다. 이미 교향곡 4번으로 높은 평가를 받았던 이들은 이번에도 너무나 유명한 작품에 새로운 생기와 신선한 감정을 불어넣는 데 성공했다. 피셔가 그려내는 ‘비창’은 모든 디테일이 손에 그려질 듯 잡히면서도 ‘오케스트라를 위한 레퀴엠’이라는 작품의 비극적인 측면을 환상적으로 펼쳐냈다. 이제까지 음반으로 들을 수 있었던 것 중 극도로 섬세한 ‘비창’이자, 러시아 전통과 서유럽 교향곡 전통이 한데 엮인 작품의 정체성을 세밀하게 구현한 새로운 명연이다.
