　to the Stereo Sound Critics Series 　, bringing back many great performances with flat transfers. The compilation is a collection of female vocals selected and composed by Yoshio Obara. This album looks through the catalog of JVC Kenwood Victor Entertainment and picks out songs with outstanding sound from among the Japanese jazz/fusion that Obara has loved since his student days. 　With the full cooperation of JVC Kenwood Victor Entertainment, this album contains nine carefully selected songs that Obara is particularly fond of. The works released between 1970 and 1982 on this album are not only songs by domestic and international artists, but also include performances by overseas artists alongside Japanese artists. While most modern compilation albums are produced from digital sources, all nine tracks on this album were carefully recreated from the original analog master tapes. 　This SACD/CD hybrid album was mastered by Kazushige Yamazaki of FLAIR, with Ohara in attendance. Among the staff of the studio, Yamazaki has a particularly deep knowledge of analog master tapes, and is also thorough when it comes to operating the tape recorder used for master playback. The CD layer of this album contains the SACD layer file produced by flat transfer this time, as is, with as little sound adjustment as possible, as befitting the CD container. 　The liner notes include anecdotes from Ohara's student days when he was crazy about jazz/fusion, highlights of each song, and the joy of listening to the masterpieces of female vocalists from Japan and abroad, known as DIVA, on a well-equipped audio system.

　호평을 받고 있는 폐사 「클리틱스 시리즈」의 신보로서, 오하라 유오씨의 선곡·구성에 의한 여성 보컬 컴필레이션이 더해집니다. 본작은, 오하라씨가 학생시절부터 애청해 온 일본의 재즈/퓨전 중에서, JVC 켄우드·빅터 엔터테인먼트가 옹호하는 카탈로그를 바라보고, 소리 만들기가 뽑아 나온 곡을 픽업하고 있습니다.

　본작은 JVC 켄우드 빅터 엔터테인먼트의 전면 협력하에 오하라 씨가 한때 친숙해진 곡을 엄선하여 총 9곡을 수록. 본작에 수록되는 1970년부터 1982년의 기간에 발매된 작품은 국내외의 아티스트에 의한 악곡뿐만 아니라, 일본의 아티스트와 섞여 해외 아티스트와의 경연이 펼쳐지고 있는 것도 무시할 수 없습니다. 현대의 컴필레이션 앨범은 디지털 음원으로부터 제작되는 케이스가 대부분입니다만, 본작에서는 전 9곡이 정진정의 오리지날의 아날로그 마스터 테이프로부터 꼼꼼하게 일어나고 있습니다.

　이번 SACD / CD 하이브리드 판은 오하라 씨가 만난 후 FLAIR의 야마자키 카즈시게 씨가 마스터링을 담당하고 있습니다. 야마﨑씨는 동 스튜디오의 스탭 중에서도, 특히 아날로그의 마스터 테이프에 대해서 조예가 깊고, 마스터의 플레이백에 사용하는 테이프 레코더의 조작에 관해서도 빼놓을 수 없습니다. 덧붙여 본작의 CD층은 이번, 플랫 트랜스퍼로 제작된 SACD층의 파일을 CD의 그릇에 적합하고, 소리 조정을 최대한 하지 않고 그대로 담고 있습니다.

　라이너 노트에서는 오하라 씨가 재즈/퓨전에 열중하고 있던 학생 시절의 에피소드를 비롯해 각 곡의 듣고, 국내외 여성 보컬리스트=DIVA(디바)들의 명곡을 다수 갖춘 오디오 시스템으로 듣는 기쁨이 적혀 있습니다.
