Prestige 레코드 창립 75주년을 기념하여 제작된 매우 특별한 편집 앨범으로 Miles Davis의 전설이 시작되었던 
1954년의 레코딩을 담고 있다.

Sonny Rollins, Charles Mingus, Horace Silver, Art Blakey, Thelonious Monk 등과 함께 연주하였던 ‘Four’, ‘Old Devil’, ‘Blue’, ‘Solar’, ‘You Don't Know What Love Is’ 등 다양한 고전들과 미공개 음원 등 20곡의 작품이 4장의 LP에 수록되어 있으며 
새로운 마스터링과 충실한 리니어 노트가 수록 높은 만족감을 전해준다.
